***Immediate requirement - Remote working***

Due to an internal promotion and additional growth within the organisation, this leading FMCG business is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager for an initial 12 month FTC, but with a strong likelihood to be made permanent following this time.

Our client is a leading lifestyle product business that has a portfolio of brands covering the UK and supplies into the major retailers, national grocers, DIY multiples and online retailers. They have recently gone through a rapid growth phase and are enjoying a high demand for their product portfolio in the UK and globally.

We are looking for a Supply Chain leader with experience of Far East supplier management, working in the retail import industry. You will have experience of leading and managing a team of supply and demand managers and be the focal point to the wider commercial business for all matters supply chain.

Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning process from forecast receipt to supply planning, ensuring optimum replenishment and best service levels for customers.

  • Oversee the creation, modification and issue of purchase orders, stock transfer orders and supply schedules.

  • Lead the S&OP process for supply chain and ensure the constant collaboration with key stakeholders in commercial, ensuring they have supply information readily available in order to delight our customers.

  • Drive the performance of supply chain operations with metrics including inventory management and cost control.

  • Define and adapt the supply chain structure, including third party partnerships that would improve the supply function.

  • Manage, motivate, develop and lead the team to ensure excellent stakeholder management and communication.

  • Monitor and optimise local KPIs including demand plan accuracy & volatility, supply reliability, local inventories & 3rd party performance.

  • Support both local and global cross-functional projects as required.

  • Authorise sign-off and check margin and order accuracy for FOB orders throughout the group.

  • Maintain and enhance product margins through freight control and freight partner management.

  • With our category management teams, maintain and build factory relationships to ensure best delivery, quality and availability of product.

    ***My client has DC's dotted around the country, therefore this role is totally remote but with the majority of any travel to their southern sites.***
