About Our Client

Our client is an established FMCG manufacturer in Hull.

This role is the perfect opportunity for a long term, progressive career in supply chain. They are looking for am ambitious candidate who is passionate about supply chain.

You will be fully supported in the role to learn all areas of supply chain, involving on the job training and professional qualifications. There is absolutely the potential to become part of the management team and work internationally if desired.

Job Description

* Will assist with the creation of the production plan to support the requirement of the customer demand, contributing towards a positive On Time In Full (OTIF) result BUT also manage the stock levels in line with the company expectations.
* Accurately maintain data in relation to the production plan.
* Monitor the accuracy of the plan on a daily basis to ensure that the data is correct and in line with stakeholder expectations, reporting on daily variances to plan.
* Highlight, and where appropriate amend core planning data to aid continuous improvement within the function.
* Review finished goods stock holding and identify slow moving stock
* Monitor life of the raw materials and ingredients to ensure a reduction in waste
* Reporting of all required KPI's on a weekly and monthly basis
* Identify potential challenges, escalate where appropriate to the Supply Chain Manager.
* Be able to multi-task, flexible in their approach and liaise across different departments daily.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally in a supply chain role OR hold a relevant supply chain degree
  • Must have excellent IT skills with good Excel skills essential.

What's on Offer

Salary £25K - this may be negotiable

Training courses funded

Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
