About Our Client

I've partnered up with a Stockport based client as they look to strengthen their Supply Chain team.

Working closely with customer's to fulfil their bespoke needs, my client is looking for someone with experience working in projects, ensuring the process is ran efficiently and requirements are met.

Job Description

As the Supply Chain Coordinator you'll have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a comprehensive supplier base
  • Agree frame contracts with suppliers
  • Undertake price negotiations with suppliers
  • Establish purchasing terms with all suppliers
  • Manage raw material stock at the factories and reduce dead stock
  • Support all factories in their move to CM full T for January next year
  • Arrange regular meetings with main suppliers to discuss their innovations
  • Conduct benchmarks on main fabrics/trims
  • Raise all purchase orders and call off orders and maintain dates in the ERP system
  • Manage price data on ERP solution
  • Arrange shipments to required suppliers
  • Update system and suppliers with due dates
  • Liaise with finance re supplier payments

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Supply Chain Coordinator role will ideally have the following key skills and qualities:

  • Experienced in customs documentation and processes
  • Ability to react decisively under pressure
  • Have excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Possess excellent attention to detail, be self-driven and show initiative
  • Be able to work individually and as part of different teams, as required
  • Have intermediate/advanced IT skills - especially Microsoft Excel
  • Be confident and have a positive, professional, attitude
  • Experienced in customs documentation and processes
