Role Profile

ExtraAF is an exciting new start-up that has a goal and potential to be recognisied on a global scale. We want to be the first name on everyone's mind when they think of fashion or buying online. Since we are solely an e-commerce based business, having an online presence is important to us but having the best of quality product and customer satisfaction is extremely important because this directly reflects on our brand identity. The candidate's role would be to source the most cost-efficient suppliers at competitive price points as well as the best buying plan making sure we don't run out of fast-selling stock. The candidate will also be looking at latest market trends and sourcing designs based on market forecasts that are or will be successful in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple categories
  • Working from home
  • Travelling to appointments/fit sessions weekly
  • Developing specific brand strategy
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiating when necessary
  • Setting and delivering category strategy
  • Conduct financial analysis of commercial opportunities to surpass targets and increase profitability, incorporating key pricing and merchandising strategies
  • Exceptional understanding of key market trends
  • Continuously monitor competitor/industry performance and developments

  • Experienced and trend led menswear buyer - streetstyle as well as modern chic
  • Product development
  • Highly developed negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You will be creative, analytically minded and be able to provide growth opportunities for the brand
