Planning & Logistics Manager - Cardiff - 12 Month FTC

The Role:

As Planning & Logistics Manager you will lead the production planning, materials scheduling and site logistics functions in order to deliver the efficient and cost effective supply of materials to both internal and external customers. You will be pivotal in developing the site capacity plan ensuring that this is in line with the sales forecast whilst maximising operational efficiencies.


As Planning & Logistics Manager you will ideally have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing site before, ideally within a food production site although this isn't essential. You should have previous experience of production planning and managing stock levels with good systems experience (ideally SAP). You would be thorough and methodical in your approach and able to work to high levels of accuracy. As this is a people management position, you should be able to demonstrate a track record in coaching and developing teams.

The Package:

This role is being offered on a 12 month FTC basis and will have a salary of £45,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus plus additional benefits

The role of Planning & Logistics Manager will be based in Cardiff and will be a Monday-Friday Days-based role
