Warehouse Inventory Manager

Inventory Manager Working Monday to Friday days. Based at Redditch.

£35-40,000 plus package

Role Purpose: To ensure accurate, timely and effective stock management within the site to ensure a fully accurate and dynamic stock file.

To ensure perpetual inventory cycles are managed and monitored through the PI team

Fully optimise the layout and storage of all goods on site.

Key Tasks

Ensure all planning of stock locations and Perpetual inventory counting and reports are completed to agreed timescales and to the required standard included within scope.

  • Warehouse Layout – Design and instigate change to Bin Profiles to suit SKU types and associated categorisation and sales velocity and the continuous Configuration of warehouse by Categorisation and Sales Velocity.
  • Optimise the warehouse space to affect the best utilisation of warehouse capacity.
  • Capacity planning – To provide site operations management and the client with up to date records of capacity utilisation by area and bin type
  • Stock Replenishment – To manage and set appropriate priorities against the Picking and Replenishment teams to effect timely delivery of stock to pick bins or operations area so that client delivery specifications can be achieved by the Operations team
  • To review all stock intake plans to ensure best working practises are maintained in relation to bulk storage, pick faces and efficiencies in replenishment and picking.
  • Plan, effect and control cycle counting and checks through the PI team to ensure coverage to client SLA’s
  • Record and report results and discrepancies on a weekly and period basis as required by the General Manager for client SLA reporting including count sheet production, results input, verification and investigation
  • General stock control – support the Operations team through liaison with the operations manager to ensure optimum levels of stock integrity are achieved through compliance to processes and procedures of warehouse operations
