Transport Planner - Haydock

Shifts: 4 on 4 off (6-6/7-7)

The Role:

As the Transport Planner, you'll ensure safe, legal and effective planning and running of a fleet of vehicles and drivers. You'll be responsible for inbound and outbound deliveries keeping the customer at the forefront providing them with excellent customer service.

You:

To be successful in the role of the Transport Planner, ideally, you'll have held a similar role previously within a busy transport office. You'll engage with the drivers daily and provide them with the appropriate paperwork at the start of the shifts. Ideally, you'll have knowledge of all transport legislation especially driver hours and WTD.

The Background:

After a recent internal promotion, I am now looking for a Transport Planner to join a busy logistics organisation.
